New features will be released to your Chalk & Wire site on July 22, 2016. See below for details on what's coming soon for assessors!

Assessment Interface Revamp

We’re proud to introduce a new, simplified Assessment Interface:

Simplified Interface

The assessment options that assessors are accustomed to are still available, but many have been moved and/or adjusted to simplify and enhance the assessment experience.

Full Instrument View

In addition to the familiar side-by-side assessment interface, a full-instrument view option is now available.

Find Submissions

Assessors can more easily find specific submissions by selecting the appropriate contextual list, available directly on the assessment page.

Auto-populated Grade Suggestion

Assessors can choose to use the ‘suggested grade’ feature, which auto-calculates a grade based on the final assessment score. This grade can be adjusted manually before saving. Administrators can enable this feature from the site setting's Policies screen.

Comment Suggestions

When entering criterion comments during assessment, assessors now have the option to select comments they use most frequently across all assessment instruments, in addition to being able to select comment suggestions for the specific criterion.
